SHAUN Maloney is back with the Champions. The 25-year-old has rejoined Celtic on a four-year-contract from Aston Villa and is delighted to be back at the club where he first started his career.
Maloney spent eight years with Celtic, making 138 appearances for the club, scoring 37 goals, and in his last season was the SPFA Player of the Year as he helped Gordon Strachan’s side win the first of three consecutive league titles.
And the player, who joined his new team-mates, and many old friends for training at Lennoxtown today (Friday), is determined to play his part in ensuring that the SPL trophy remains at Celtic Park at the end of this season.
Shaun Maloney will be officially unveiled as a Celtic player at a press conference later today at the Training Centre in Lennoxtown.
