Danny McGrain
In his prime, there was no better full-back in world football than Daniel Fergus McGrain. Signed as a teenager just days before the 1967 European Cup final, Danny was the Quality Street Kid who made his debut in 1970 and never dropped out of the team for 17 years.
Athletic and inspirational, Danny could influence a game with incredible ease from his normal right-back berth.
After playing a huge role in the nine-in-a-row run, he captained Celtic to league titles in 1981, 82 and 86.
He is now the assistant coach for Celtic reserves, where his knowledge and experience have helped several youngsters break into the first-team squad.
