• Andreas joined Celtic in January 2008 from Spanish side, Sevilla.
• The German internationalist, who has won 17 caps for his country, had previously played for VfB Stuttgart and played against Celtic in the 2002/03 UEFA Cup campaign.
• He made his Hoops debut in the Scottish Cup tie against Stirling Albion at Celtic Park in January 2008 and, having played 19 games for the Hoops, he’s scored one goal, a superb effort in the 3-0 win over Hearts.
• Andreas has also played in three derby meetings against Rangers since joining the club, including the vital 2-1 and 3-2 victories at the close of the 2007/08 championship-winning season.
