Artur Boruc

• Goalkeeper celebrated his 28th birthday on Wednesday, February 20, the same day Celtic took on Barcelona.
• He joined Celtic in June 2005 from Legia Warsaw and in January this year signed a new deal that will see him remain at Celtic until at least 2011.
• As Poland's number one, with 37 national team caps, he produced another series of outstanding displays in the summer Euro 2008 tournament in Switzerland and Austria.
• In season 2007/08, Artur had 17 clean sheets in 45 appearances.
Overall, he has 52 clean sheets in his 135 games for Celtic.
• He has won three League Championship medals with Celtic, as well as a CIS Cup medal in 2006 and a Scottish Cup winner’s medal in 2007.
• Artur was out of action for most of December 2007 after undergoing knee surgery.
• A penalty specialist, Artur's spot-kick stops include the save to deny Luis Saha against Manchester United in November 2006 which helped book the club's place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League and two in last season's dramatic shoot-out win in the qualifiers against Spartak Moscow.
