5. CELTIC SUPPORTERS FUNDRAISING SCHEME
Celtic fans across the globe make huge efforts to help those less fortunate. Celtic Charity Fund has now put in place a new pilot scheme to support and co-ordinate fundraising on behalf of the Celtic Family, allowing us to make an even bigger impact as a collective unit.
Basically, any Celtic Supporters Club or individual fan undertaking such charitable activities can:-
1. Nominate Celtic Charity Fund as the beneficiary and we will distribute the monies raised to a host of worthy causes through our funding application process, OR
2. Nominate another registered charity (which fall(s) within one or more of our 6 key areas of support), direct your fundraising activities through Celtic Charity Fund and we will increase your total by 25% and make the total donation to your chosen charity!
Fundraising could be in the form of:-
Sponsored Events
Fun Runs, half or full marathons, etc. Celtic Charity Fund will provide a tailored sponsor form.
Other Fundraising Events
Race night, disco, auction or any innovative idea you come up! Celtic Charity Fund will provide a tailored events form.
Why not follow the lead of the Twintowns and Anton Rogan White CSC’s who are playing a charity match in Glasgow on Saturday 6th September to raise funds, in partnership with Celtic Charity Fund, for Yorkhill Children’s Hospital in Glasgow and Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin.
All proceeds will be collated and supplemented by Celtic Charity Fund, split equally between the 2 hospitals and donated in December 2008.
